Gary,

Thanks for the comments. That is exactly the tyoe of feedback I wanted to hear. I think I am going to have to do that anyway due to time constraints. If anyone notices that date of this post, it is approximately 2 weeks since I have posted a show. Just a quick explanantion: I started a new job 3 weeks ago, I am training to be a Research Manager for a medical research organization and have no, zip, zero, nada experience prior to this in medical research. We do clinical trials, like the ones you hear the ads on the radio for, no animal testing or anything like that, and the group I work for specializes in Infectious Diseases so we are literally working to sustain people's lives. It is really cool, but I am working 12-18 hours daily and haven't had time to put together a quality podcast, so I haven't. I didn't want to post junk to the show. I do make this commitment, I will have a show posted this week for sure. I will look at that format where I find the story, link to it, summarize it and only read the pertinent information with my commentary, as long as that is okay with the administrator and "owner" of this show. Thanks again everyone. May the Lord bless and keep you, in the name of Jesus the Christ and Lord.

Matt,
I've just finished listening to your podcasts and think you have to figure a way to edit or organize this material down to a reasonable amount per episode (maybe under 20 minutes?). Some of your best material is your editorial asides, not the verbatim you are reading and when you are in hyper-fast reading mode for an extended period, I don't think you are connecting as well as you could. Maybe you could report, editorialize and comment on the news in a shorter format and refer the listener to your show notes on the website that has your source news story links. Good luck.
Hi Matt, just wanted to tell you thanks for taking Mark's challenge to do this gun rights news blog. I've been listening to all of your podcasts & you're doing great. I've added a link to your site from my blog in my "gun rights podcasts" link list & have also challenged my readers to check them out. I think it is important that we all eat up as much information as we can as it makes all more effective advocates of gun rights. Knowledge is power. :)

Just a quick comment on the VA bill to allow CCW'ers to CCW in restaurants serving alcohol.
While it's generally not a good idea to imbibe and handle firearms, are not those having a drink entitled to defend themselves as well as those who don't?
